  3. I'd say there was once mill house, or other structure that used the water for power. Then again, it might have been the work of a demented architect.

  5. I believe that's a Hickory tree to the left of the steps. The ivy and growth look familiar, so I'm thinking somewhere in a southern state of the United States.
